Many are pushing for legalizing recreational marijuana. We would be wise to look at all of the negative effects in Colorado where marijuana was legalized. Since legalizing recreational marijuana, Colorado has seen an increase in marijuana related traffic deaths, poison control calls, and emergency room visits. Contrary to predictions, the marijuana black market has increased, not decreased; and numerous state marijuana regulators have been indicted for corruption.
