MVCI is pleased to have as our first speaker of 2023 a good friend – Mr. Chris Long President of the Ohio Christian Alliance.
Chris was one of our featured speakers on Sept 11, 2012 when we held a “Let’s Roll Rally” in Stubbs Park in honor of Americans and others who lost their lives during the previous year’s (9/11) attacks on our nation.
It is a privilege to have him come and speak to us again as we are facing and fighting new attacks on our culture and even from within our own government.

Mr. Long will be addressing the Ohio State House issue regarding newly-elected Ohio Speaker, Jason Stephens.
Conservative, pro-life Republican Dereck Merrin was the original choice for Speaker agreed upon by ALL House Republican Representatives. However, in a suprise last minute move 22 Republicans who promised to vote for Merrin, conspired with the Democrats and were then able to elect a much less conservative speaker – Jason Stephens.
Along with this very serious and troubling problem, Chris will also share about Governor DeWine’s recent “State of the State” address where the Governor listed a number of proposals, one of which was expanding school choice. Other topics will be about the federal investigation of the FBI and Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Currently, Chris lobbies in Columbus and Washington for pro-life, pro-family legislation and teaches Christian statesmanship.
Nationally he is in demand as a speaker and radio guest. He and his wife, Silvia have eight children and reside in Northeastern Ohio.
