Are our Ohio elections trustworthy? MVCI welcomes former Ohio State Representative and candidate for
Ohio Secretary of State, John Adams, as our guest speaker this month.
Please join us on Monday, March 21st to meet Mr. Adams and hear what he has to say about this issue
and why he is seeking the office of Ohio’s Secretary of State.
John Adams served eight years in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2007 to 2014 (including
six years as Whip). He represented District 85 which included parts of Shelby, Champaign and Logan
counties.
Prior to his public service as a State Rep., he served his country as a Navy SEAL, specializing
in Intelligence and Underwater Demolition. He was deployed on two tours overseas and
assisted in training tactical units in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy SEALs in 1987, John returned to Ohio and started his
own business – the Francis Furniture Store.
As a small business owner, Adams became a member of the National Federation of Independent
Business/Ohio (NFIB), a non-profit organization representing 600,000 small business owners
across the country. Due to his active involvement in protecting small businesses from excessive
government intrusion, Adams was appointed by NFIB/Ohio to serve on its 34-member Leadership
Council.
Adams believes his life experience as a Navy SEAL, as a small businessman, as a civic leader,
and as a husband and father qualify him to successfully protect and advance our common
values. He is committed to the Constitution, Election Integrity, and following the Rule of Law.
In regards to recent elections he says, “There were shenanigans that went on (in the 2020 election)
and there are questions that have not yet been resolved.”
John Adams says he is gratified by his work to help his community and small businesses, but
his greatest joy is his family. He and his wife, Tara, are the proud parents of seven children.
