MIAMI VALLEY CITIZENS INFORMED
MONDAY, MAY 13
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS BAPTIST CHURCH
5650 FAR HILLS AVENUE, DAYTON, OH. 45429
”WHAT IS SOCIAL JUSTICE?
Have you heard the words “social justice,” but you were never quite sure what it meant?  Sounds good, but ….. is it?

MVCI is please to have this month’s guest speaker, Lisa Snaufer, share her presentation on “Social Justice.”  Lisa and her husband Joe live just north of Dayton.  They attend Christian Life Center where Lisa teaches the IOTC 12-week class on the U.S. Constitution on a regular basis.  She is well versed in the founding documents and how they apply to us as U.S. citizens.

The term “social justice” is often used in government, politics, and in academia, so it is important for us to understand the definition, the thinking, the logic and the goals behind the words.  It is also important when conversing  with someone who uses this term, that we understand what they are really saying and how best to reply in the framework of our own Constitutional and Judeo-Christian beliefs.

We look forward to hearing Lisa and we look forward to seeing you on Monday, May 13, when we will be meeting in the newly renovated general auditorium.  Parking is available once again in the front lot – enter door #2.  If you park in the back lot, enter door #4 and come down the wide hallway to the main lobby.   Hope you enjoy the new seating 🙂
