Beyond the Opioid Epidemic: May 15 Meeting in Xenia Addressing Addiction and Mental Health

It’s been one year since our Attorney General Mike DeWine and a panel of local experts described the opioid/heroin crisis during a well-attended seminar. A team is returning to report on what is working well and challenges we face as a community. Join the Greene County Tea Party (GCTP) to welcome back Dr. Greta Mayer and a team of professionals on Tuesday, May 15. They will be there to let people know where help is available, answer questions, and help you to help others. The following organizations/professionals are attending:

Mental Health and Recovery Board of Clark, Greene and Madison Counties. Affiliated with over 20 supporting agencies. CEO, Dr. Greta Mayer

Christopher House. Drug & alcohol rehabilitation center with a primary focus on substance abuse treatment Manager, Mr. Nathan Crago

The Hope Spot. Recovery Support Services Director, Amy Pulver

Families of Addicts (FOA). Rebuilds families and transforms lives. The 3E’s; educate, empower & embrace. Rebecca Walsh & Noah Chromey

Greene County Sheriff. Full service law enforcement agency Sheriff Gene Fisher
