Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor Presents Strong Conservative Views at MVCI Meeting January 29, 2018

The upcoming May 8th Primary Election is of great importance because that is the BEST opportunity to support the candidates of your choice rather than waiting until the November general election when your choice is limited to a vote for the “political party’s designated candidate.”

This May we have a choice of candidates for the Republican Primary race for Governor/Lt. Governor of Ohio:
Mary Taylor / Nathan Estruth
Mike DeWine / Jon Husted.

At the Miami Valley Citizens Informed (MVCI) “Meet the Candidate Night” on January 29, Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor and Nathan Estruth showed a strong commitment to conservative principles. Mary Taylor’s statements at the meeting included the following: She is committed to totally removing (not just renaming) the Common Core Standards Initiative and its ensuing curriculum. She believes in empowering local communities in the education of their children. Her goal is to return the Ohio Medicaid program from the “Obamacare expansion” to those citizens who truly are in need. She will NOT support sanctuary cities. Mary Taylor and her running mate are both emphatically pro-life and she will sign the Heartbeat Bill. Many conservatives believe that Mary Taylor has a great record of fiscal conservatism and has demonstrated this by refusing federal money that had dangerous strings attached which could further burden the taxpayers of Ohio.

Nathan Estruth has not been a politician, but rather an executive in the business world for most of his career. He has also been part of Focus on the Family ministry. He is a Constitutional conservative. His thoughtful and very common-sense answers to hard questions asked him were very encouraging to conservatives at the MVCI meeting.

In summary, conservatives at the MVCI meeting were very pleased with what they heard from the Taylor/Estruth team!
