At the recent Lincoln Day Dinner hosted by the Greene County Republican Party, “Joe the Plumber”, who was the featured speaker, stressed the importance of using Social Media to further conservative thought and causes.
Now, Greene County TEA Party is sponsoring free training to help you get up to speed on Social Media so you can use it to help promote conservative values! We’re going to learn how to use Facebook and Twitter in an initial session on Tuesday, 28 March 2017.
Our instructor, Steve Sunderlin, will take us on a tour of Social Media and we’ll learn the basics. For Facebook, we’ll learn what it is and how it works; how to “post,” how to “friend,” and how to make comments on your Facebook and a friend’s Facebook. Exercises will ensure our understanding. And we’ll do the same for Twitter, including setting up an account, learning about personal security as well as “posting,” “tweeting,” and “retweeting.” Importantly, you need to bring an iPad or smartphone or laptop. You’ll need them for the exercises.
We’ll join up at the TJ Chumps restaurant for the learning session. We’ve reserved one of the large rooms. The room is free and they are planning on us eating there. Please plan on it. Here’s the timing for the event:
