In the wake of the disastrous Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage, conservatives are concerned that the Federal government will attempt to coerce faith-based schools, organizations, or individuals to change their positions on marriage. The First Amendment Defense Act, H.R. 2802, has been introduced in Congress to bar the Federal government from punishing religious schools, organizations and individuals as a result of their commitment to traditional marriage. Click here for more information, and let your Congressman and Senators know your concerns. In Montgomery and Greene County, contact Rep. Mike Turner to express your opinion, and throughout Ohio contact Sen. Rob Portman and Sen. Sherrod Brown to express your concerns. Do your representatives in Congress care more about our religious liberty, or about bowing to the wishes of the gay activist community? If you care about your religious liberty, you need to get involved and stay involved!
