We are inviting candidates running for the offices of Ohio State Attorney General, Auditor, Treasurer, and Secretary of State, and others as well.
Note – Dave Yost, Seth Morgan, Sandy O’Brien, Steve Christopher, and Mike DeWine have all agreed to attend this event. Jon Husted says maybe (as of March 3, 2010). No Democrats have responded to our invitations.
On March 31st, State Senators and State Representatives from across Ohio meet with their constituents who have "adopted" them to attend the Making of America Constitution Seminar presented by the National Center for Constitutional Studies (http://www.nccs.net/seminars/index.html).
Through the "Adopt a Legislator" program, any individual or group can sponsor a member of the Ohio State Legislature to attend the "Making of America Seminar" on the United States Constitution in the Ohio Statehouse on March 31st.
The Miamisburg School Board will be meeting to decide what level of emergency levy they will be putting on the May ballot. They are considering an emergency level that is higher than the levy that was defeated on Feb. 2nd. The meeting is Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 7:00 P.M., in the Neff Board Room, Board of Education, 540 E. Park Avenue, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
Another candidate has entered the race for Attorney General to oppose Mike DeWine in the Republican primary: Hardin County attorney Steven Christopher.
Ohio's estate tax is levied at rates of 5%-7% on taxable estates over a mere $338,333. It generates less than 1% of total state and local revenues.

The Dayton Tea Party held their July 3 Rally at Golden Gate Park in Brookville. According to Brookville Police Chief Ed Preston, more than 5,000 were in attendance.
The Dayton Tea Party is proud to announce the the Mayor of Brookville will address the crowd at the July 3 Rally. Mayor David E. Seagraves is a lifelong resident of the City of Brookville. He is also a lifelong member of Brookville First United Methodist Church.

The Dayton Tea Party has reserved a spot to walk together in Fairborn's 4th of July Parade.
The parade line up starts at 7:30 a.m., with most arriving between 8 to 9 p.m. The parade starts at 10 a.m. The line up is in the Fairborn Plaza Shopping Center on Broad Street.

Rachel Plumer, a Brookville native and 2003 Brookville High School graduate, will be singing the National Anthem.
Ohio state lawmaker, Jarrod Martin, of Beavercreek and who represents the 70th District in the Ohio House of Representatives, will join other area lawmakers in addressing the Dayton Tea Party rally on Friday, July 3. Rally festivities begin at 7 p.m. at Golden Gate Park in Brookville.
