Hi Ashley:
My name is Eric Weber and I have volunteered to lead the Kettering Liberty Group under the Tea Party umbrella. There will be a Kettering Face Book page created in the next couple of weeks. I attended the Kettering meeting last night and being a registered Rep., but actually, as referred to, the 20% wishy washy Independents, found a very partisan tone. Statements made by you and other speakers that I agree with of those in city government, as well as state and federal gov. The biggest problem I saw with last night was villifying by name, Dems but stating, but not using names of Rep. This would hardly be seen as non partisan by a Dem
I also don't care for campaigning in a targeted group that was there for other reasons, if your a Dem or Rep. I do have three questions for you that I didn't get to ask you.
1. What is your stance on immigration?
2. Are there any circumstances that you would find on aborting a fetus?
3. If you had a choice between laying off Fire and Police over going through a budget to provide more amenities such as bike paths,fancy lighting, and such in a time of fiscal restraint, would you hold off on those things and find away to distribute the monies to keep security in the community ?
These are just some of the things I would have to have answered before I would back you. Remember that I'm and Independent and don't vote party lines. It's tough in the primaries for us.
