Dayton Tea Party Executive Board:

 

Rob Scott

Rob Scott, president & founder of the Dayton Tea Party, is currently a University of Dayton School of Law student and plans on practicing law in the Dayton area. He is a longtime resident of Kettering, Ohio. Scott attended Kettering City Schools, Sinclair Community College and received his bachelor's in political science and urban affairs from Wright State University.

Also, Scott worked in the Ohio House of Representatives as a legislative aide and worked on several major political campaigns in Ohio. Additionally, Scott worked for the Dayton Daily News as a reporter and a copy editor during his undergraduate years in college.  He is a member of numerous organizations in the Dayton community.

Scott is an advocate for smaller government, fiscal restraint, support for small business and free markets. He emphasizes that the Dayton Tea Party "is not a Republican thing. It's not a Democrat thing. This is a big government thing!"  He can be contacted at rob@daytonohioteaparty.com.


Kim Fletcher

Kim Fletcher is Vice President of the Dayton Tea Party. Kimberly Fletcher is the president and founder of Homemakers for America, Vice President of the Dayton Tea Party and Executive Director of the Abigail Adams Project.  In her private life, Kimberly is the wife of an officer in the United States Air Force and the mother of 8 children. 

On September 11, 2001, Kimberly’s life was turned upside down when a 747 flew into the United States Pentagon where her husband was stationed.  Later that day, when her husband returned home safely, Kimberly determined that she would do everything in her power to ensure that her children remained free.  This determination led her to an intense study of American history and public policy and a desire to become actively involved in government and civic responsibility. 
 
Kimberly is an experienced grassroots activist, columnist and public speaker. She has been heard on numerous regional and national TV and radio programs including the Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity radio shows.  Her articles have appeared in several print and on-line publications including American Thinker and Worldnetdaily. Kimberly and her husband Derek live in Dayton Ohio with their children.

Phil Herzing

 

Phil Herzing serves as the Liberty Group Director for the Dayton Tea Party and is responsible for guiding and equipping the various community chapters of the Dayton Tea Party. There chapters are called Liberty Groups, because their primary focus is on helping our members cherish and understand, and stand up for our precious Constitutional liberties. Phil was born and raised in Worthington, Ohio, and is a 1984 graduate of Kenyon College in Ohio. He is a respected financial services professional, who derives great satisfaction from helping his clients make sound financial decision in good times and bad. Phil and his wife, Karen, live in Washington Township along with their four children.

Brad Bieghler

Brian Stanford

Brian Stanford is the Finance Director for the Dayton Tea Party. Brian Stanford, Director of Finance, has worked in several financial capacities for over 20 years with Alcatel-Lucent, formerly a part of AT&T.  Raised in California, Brian has also lived in Chicago and Kansas City, and worked for two years in Saudi Arabia.  He became interested in politics in the early 90s, but became actively involved after the first Dayton Tea Party event at Courthouse Square.

Brian graduated from Cal State-Long Beach and has graduate degrees from USC and Pepperdine.  A husband, father, stepfather, grandfather and animal lover, Brian’s other passion is coaching high-school tennis at the JV level. Brian can be reached at brian@daytonohioteaparty.com
