GCTP Meeting Next Tuesday, August 27: Learn about the Ohio Constitution. Does the “Controlling Board” Override our Duly Elected Representatives?

The highly regarded Buckeye Institute’s Mr. Greg Lawson has expertise on Ohio’s budget, local government, state and local taxes, education and its funding, transportation funding, and occupational licensing. A frequent speaker across the state, his writings have also appeared in most major Ohio newspapers. At this special meeting of the Greene County Tea Party (GCTP) he will address:

1. Ohio’s Constitution and “Controlling Boards” – How “Controlling Boards” can affect our representative government.

2. Ohio Constitutional Amendment process – How this can be used by Out of State Advocates to manipulate or trick our citizens into adopting their extreme ideas, e.g. “National Popular Vote.”

Greg has more than 20 years’ experience in state government and is a recognized budget expert and often testifies and educates on free market solutions. He is also a recognized expert on school choice and occupational licensing. Prior to his position at Buckeye, he served in the Ohio General Assembly as a Legislative Service Commission fellow.
