First Presidential Debate Shows Major Media Bias

FacebookTwitterGoogle+EmailPrintShare

2016-presidential-debates_editedThe first debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was held this Monday, September 26, and the public seems to be about equally divided on who “won” the debate. However, many people feel that the debate moderator, Lester Holt, was clearly biased in favor of Hillary Clinton in many ways. For example, he disagreed with Donald Trump as he asked a follow-up question to Trump in a number of cases.
But perhaps the greatest bias was shown in the fact that there was no question to Hillary Clinton about the suspected pay-for-play corruption found in the Clinton Foundation in its relationship to Hillary’s State Department. For example, last month the Associated Press reported “More than half the people outside the government who met with Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state gave money — either personally or through companies or groups — to the Clinton Foundation…” There also was not a question from Lester Holt about Clinton’s use of a private email server while Secretary of State, which exposed large amounts of highly classified secrets to easy enemy access, although Donald Trump managed to bring up the Clinton email scandal in reference to another question. For the next Presidential debate on October 9, the public may be able to have an influence on some of the questions which are asked. You can click HERE to go to a website where you can vote on which questions you would like to be asked of the candidates at the October 9 debate.
