Presidential candidate Donald Trump gave a major foreign policy speech on Monday August 15 in Youngstown, Ohio. A number of powerful points were made by Mr. Trump, including many which are largely ignored by the liberal media as they work to discredit Donald Trump and hide negative facts about Hillary Clinton. Mr. Trump showed clearly how the world has become a much more dangerous place with President Obama and Hillary Clinton in charge of foreign policy. Donald Trump noted that ISIS, which was essentially unknown prior to the Obama/Clinton years, has now grown to the point where “This summer, there has been an ISIS attack launched outside the war zones of the Middle East every 84 hours.”
Along with the clear, and chilling, description of how conditions have gotten more dangerous in so many different places (e.g.Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Egypt) under the Obama/Clinton policies, Donald Trump also presented a strong approach to recognizing Radical Islam for what it is and taking all necessary action to defeat it completely.
Part of the plan presented by Mr. Trump was a new common-sense approach to keeping radicals out of our country and defending our Constitution and freedoms:
“A Trump Administration will establish a clear principle that will govern all decisions pertaining to immigration: we should only admit into this country those who share our values and respect our people. In the Cold War, we had an ideological screening test. The time is overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today. In addition to screening out all members or sympathizers of terrorist groups, we must also screen out any who have hostile attitudes towards our country or its principles – or who believe that Sharia law should supplant American law. Those who do not believe in our Constitution, or who support bigotry and hatred, will not be admitted for immigration into the country.”
