GCTP Feb 2015The Greene County TEA Party is pleased to have Mr. Jim Lewis, a leader and co-founder of the “Building Blocks for Liberty”, as our February speaker at this months GCTP meeting. The mission of his organization, in the words of Thomas Jefferson, is “to educate and inform the whole mass of the people … they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” Mr. Lewis and his co-founder, both marines, are concerned about the state of our Republic and how the government is limiting our rights rather than the people limiting government power. Therefore, as history lovers and with the desire to continue to serve, they decided to educate American citizens to the truth about the U.S. Constitution. As marines they call their course, “Constitution Boot Camp.” The course is apolitical and teaches the basic key concepts and ideas about the Founding Fathers, Natural Law, Republic versus democracy, the three branches of government and much more.

Mr. Lewis will talk to us about their course and give us insight to their teaching. Come and join us on Tuesday, 24 February at 6:30 pm for a social with finger food with the program beginning at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be at the Xenia Community Center, 1204 West 2nd Street, Xenia. It’s directly across the street from the Nazarene Church on the south side of the street. A map is here.

We’re looking forward to hearing Mr Jim Lewis. Come out and join us to hear this marine talk to us about the U.S. Constitution, and to fellowship with others who have an interest in the direction of our country. See you there!!
