Gov. John Kasich

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a leading Republican proponent of the Common Core educational standards wrecking our children’s education, will be in Lima, OH, Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, 2:30 PM at the Allen County Republican Victory Center, 2026 N. Cable Road. The visit will be open to the public.

Opponents of Common Core and Medicaid Expansion—key milestones of Gov. Kasich’s administration—may wish to conduct a Common Core & Medicaid Expansion informational protest of Gov. Kasich’s visit. You may also wish to meet with Gov. Kasich to express your opposition to Common Core and Medicaid Expansion, to ask the governor why he opposes making Ohio a right-to-work state, and to ask why key bills such as the heart beat bill and voter ID are stalled in the Republican-controlled legislature.

While you are there, meet with U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan who will also be attending this event. Congressman Jordan, seen often in key Congressional oversight hearings and on Fox News, is a leading constitutional conservative in the House of Representatives. He provides inspiration that there are elected Republicans in Congress who do not share the patronage focus of establishment Republicans—compromising their political integrity—and who provide leadership for Ohio TEA Party citizenry as we move towards the key March 2016 Republican primaries in Ohio.
